woop woop leaves are popping

the first set of leaves are open now.i will begin to reduce waterings from everyday to at least every 3 days. this helps prevent the tree from growing like crazy.my plan is to try to get slow growth and pinch terminal buds after 2 leaves open on each growi g tip.this will be in another month...
once i brought this tree outside i fertalized the tree weekly with a good fetalizer weekly for a month i stopped the fert. and the. defoliated.i will not fert. again until november/december which is when i will work on her again...
by the way the backbuding is great this year i have been scraping new buds off of the trunk which hasnt happened in a while

i guess my test worked i dont have a leaf bigger than my thumbnail .my two smaller trees have had great leaf reduction also.shes going to fill out nicely this year .you can see how big the cutting leaves are in the bottom of the pic
