This has already been agreed upon that it is not a bonsai....yet, it is a nice umbrella tree in a pot with yellowing leaves. If the person who posted this question wanted to develope it as a bonsai can't we answer his question about yellowing leaves without being snarky. That is my only point.

By keeping it alive, you will learn a lot. As for a few leaves with yellow on them, it is irritating, but not always fatal. Never had an umbrella plant, but try to move a ficus, a few feet over. It looks healthy to me, but it will take some time to be a bonsai.

Good. Then stop feeling addressed when I'm talking about someone else's plant.Ruth wrote: Yes dear Auk, I do

I did not see a question how to develop this into a bonsai.
For house plants, there are specific forums that will be able to give much better answers about house plants.

Auk, why do you feel the need to have such an attitude in many of your responses. I feel "addressed " as you put it because I am a beginner also just like this person who posted about the umbrella tree. I have a tree similar that I want to develop as a bonsai. It's discouraging to get the responses you frequently hand out. We just want to learn.
