No, what'd I miss? I just meant that there's varying degrees between the extremes of having a professional do everything and learning everything 'ground-up' oneself (no internet, no help from friends or strangers etc), and that I consider it 'having learned' when I go online and find answers to a problem I was having, even if the answers were given to me by a stranger. If I were rich, I'd simply hire the professional to come and tutor me in person, until my thumb was as green in bonsai as it is elsewhere, but I'm not. So I google, I ask questions on reddit and now here, and apply what I've learned - I'm happy with that regardless of whether my comparison wasn't more apt than his! But do tell me where it's wrong because I don't see what you're getting at!!

I wouldn't hire you, but that's hardly the case - this is the *free* communication of ideas, people ask questions and others answer. Sometimes you're asking, sometimes you're answering; nobody is 'being hired', and I'm sorry if you think that asking you to elaborate on details is tantamount to anything of the nature. Thanks for your posts that were honest attempts to help but really not interested in going back & forth with you about anything unrelated to bonsai.

Recently I found that we should hire a professional for tree removal. This tree removal can have various benefits. Tree removal it's regarded as a serious crime against nature. So to overcome this we should take proper advice. A will determine the type of pruning that is necessary to maintain or improve the health, appearance and safety of your trees.

There are clubs and nursery's that you can pay to take classes (at least near me there are).
I can't speak for where you live, but I'm a huge proponent of hands on learning. Literary learning is good if that's your only outlet. But seeing a tree in person and visually going over the tree with a more experienced artist to create a plan, is paramount.
