Actual meaning as stated. I enjoy everything I grow. Lots of veggies this time of year. And my trees and my plants.

i get it now. i am also growing veggies to: garlic and ginger (ginger is a spice, but broadly speaking you can call it a veggie). good luck with all your plants!

I too grow garlic but Ginger have never tried. How and when do you plant. Do tell . I love Ginger and it's expensive so would love to give it a try. I grow brococoli eggplant kale beets tomatoes green beans pea pods turns potatoes Jerusalem artichokes radishes broccoli rabe. Try and produce as many seeds as I can.

well i planted mine in spring and it has taken quite well, i get the ginger from the groceries, as long as it has some sprouts on it, you may use it. i do not know if spring is actually the right time, but it has worked out for me. you can cut the ginger rhizomes, but it is just fine whole. hope this helps, good luck.

Note that in many supermarkets thy carry ginger that has been treated against sprouting; These are virtually impossible to root & grow. Organic/farmers markets may be a better bet.

leather back is right, but you can soak the ginger for 24-48 hours and it may work, but the transplantation shock may give you the lowest chance of good crop.
