If you are using well drained soil and if you have enough drainage holes in the pot it will be a lot of work to water too much. Constant rain for three or four days could be a problem, but otherwise there really shouldn't be a problem.
Last summer it had rained several days and my elm forest started dropping leaves. The training pot it was in, and had been in three or four years had only two holes and I had the characteristic root rot smell. Solution: drill holes.

@Remy I started watering once a day mid febuary for about 8-10 seconds. iv only had the tree for 1 week. is this a bad thing for the tree

Do not water on a scedule. Water when the tree needs it. In northern hemisphere in february that could be once a week to not watering at all. Every day is for sure too much.
