The plant was without a price tag in the corner of a garden centre and it caught my eye right away as I became a serious literati penjing addict (thanx to neverending browsing through Qingquan?s Zhao?s book Literati style penjing).
I asked for price and they offered it for 15 euros, so I had nothing to think about and took it home.
And then styled it at the club meeting.
So here it is after first styling.
I named it as a tribute to my newborn girls and their mom "Mother with twins" .

Posted 6 years 9 months ago #38848I guess the moss holds the dirt on, but I wonder how you get the dirt to stay on the rock before the moss gets a chance to settle down. Also, how often do you water? July-September around here the sun shines hard many hours and highs will be 105F or so, with lows over 90F (that would be 40C and 30C in the rest of the world). Some of the trees in pots need twice a day, and it looks like one of these would need more than that.

During the summer it goes up to 40°C in here too - I water 3 times a day.

Cute!
What do you feed it? Red Hot Chilly Peppers? Smashing Pumpkins? Maybe a Meatloaf with some Cream? Or is that too light? Korn maybe?
