Nice. Wish I had space to accommodate such a big tree.
But wait ... doesn't it take ages to taper those huge trunks at the end where the cuts have been made?

I kinda have more faith in people that actually tried to make a bonsai out of willows than this generic guidelines.
This guy has been doing just that for some years now and what he says contradicts half of that article.


The ideea is that's why I am on a forum. To talk to people that have done this things. Not because I can't search the web.

There are very good sites with excellent information, often from clubs or amateurs, but there are even shops that have good info.
Obviously, the link given was not a good one.
