It's going to be 13, if non of the new trees die. No chopping planned except to adjust the tops!
Anyhow, I like the interest and ideas that will develop.

Nice to see you taking action. Yet.. I wonder..
The way you treated the junipers is a sure-fire way to get them killed. Here, in the cold climate.
You indicated that these plants come from nurseries in the mountains, and often die just from the climate change. So why did you now go ahead and repot them? Why not let them just sit for a year, and get them to adjust?
Furthermore, junipers and pines do NOT like to be bare rooted. And certainly not washed. As said, it can take years to get your trees ready for the next stage. Yet you seem to be bend on doing it all in one day.
Take more time. Go slower if you know trees have a hard time. As before: If half of them lives and the other half dies, it is NOT the climate. It is the way they are treated

These trees have been in Jakarta for a while, I can see it in the way the been chucked into the poly bag, mostly they just put it n a bigger bag. Beside I asked them, wherever that's correct or not is questionable. The husk btw start easyly to dry out completely dry in the center, all other I explained. Btw noticed the small bags that been chucked into a bigger without removal?!! So what waiting bring me in that case nothing.

I see this knee-jerk response way too often, suggesting to return something, even though it has been worked on. What is it with people wanting to get there money back whenever they think the plant is not like they expected. The trees were obviously in good health when bought. The little baggie was no problem; The roots were growing through them just fine. So i see absolutely no reason why this plant should be returned. If it dies, it is because of the work done on it, without knowing whether it was stable in Jakarta, after being moved from the mountains. Not because a cutting bag was left on.
