Sorry to intrude but ive been following this post and I find this tree very beautiful .
I know I have no experience and probably no right to talk but I cant help imagining it with the top branch turned into deadwood like if it was struck by lightning and the bottom branch kept like it is
Thats just the way I see it I dont even know if its possible

This certainly is not a bad idea and it has crossed my mind too. However, with such top-jins the idea is it should look like it was struck by lightning, but all too often the result is that it looks like 'the artist jinned it to make it look like it was struck by lightning'. Not sure if I make clear what the difference is . What I mean is that often that clearly shows human intervention - which is something you want to avoid.

Of course it is. Personally, I prefer the first option.

I was hoping you would make an example but now that I look at it it doesnt look as good as I imagined and I also think the 1 option is best
I also have another vision of it : how about removing all of the branches on the left and keeping the ones on the right turning it into a semi cascade bunjingi style if you know what I mean

I think you mean Fukinagashi ,windswept style and that's a good option,I like that.
Of course everybody is free to make suggestions or comments.

I do not think he means windswept. This tree really is not suitable for that.

Combining styles - not much wrong with that - but making this a bunjing/cascade? I don't think so.
No need to make a drawing for that, just put your finger over the branches on the left and you can see it. For me, it doesn't work.

About windswept:
I think that's not just a tree that has lost its branches on one side due to high winds, but a tree that seems to move in strong winds. It is one of the most difficult styles. This is an amazing example, imho:
