Nah... not twisted. It makes sense.
A bonsai has got to tell a story and I guess this is such a story

I m working on an illogical tree as well, which I .. ah well. I will make a thread when I am finished with the first styling. The tree is not ready for a full coat of copper yet. Spring, maybe.

That’s right!
Since beginning of the cleaning job, we imagine a sense of congruence in all of the “medusa’s hair” that represents the way of the that branches to run in to the light but it died. At the same time on the right side, on the dead wood we could think that there were another tree growing without success and the tree use all the energy to develop the branch of the center making a loop and upright part of the foliage.
