Posted 6 years 1 month ago #45561I have this one for a long time, and I always kept it outside. He never dropped his leaves in Autumn, only in winter, after a cold period. Only the last few years he dropped his leaves in this period, but he never coloured this way...Ricky73 wrote: Very interesting progression and really stunning tree!!
I'm fascinated by that lovely autumn colour… I have two little ulmus (still much more on the mallsai side though…) but I can't get those wonderful shades: most of their leaves don't even fall - just a few of them yellowing and that's all

hmm, some photo's in this topic are a bit changed..... Anyway, today i did some changes on this tree: the lower branches are places a bit more down, as an old tree has... in 2017 I made a virtual future design for this tree:
