Posted 6 years 6 months ago #40869I've learned a lot; for example that the cut for airllayering has to be deep enough. Or else it the cut will be covered with callus again. another thing is you must not give too much fertilizer or else the branches will thicken too fast. A thirth thing i learned is that you have to cut back deeper quit often, or else the tops of the branches will get too thick also...leatherback wrote: Time & Technique = Very nice trees.

Posted 6 years 1 month ago #45554I'm fascinated by that lovely autumn colour… I have two little ulmus (still much more on the mallsai side though…) but I can't get those wonderful shades: most of their leaves don't even fall - just a few of them yellowing and that's all
