Well, I thought there was a consensus that humidity trays are only useful as "dripping trays".
My trees are no good example, living in a tropical country (hot, light and humid), but a humidity tray does nothing for my trees.
I have tried. Perhaps it's a myth.
BUT... A tent, yes.

Exactly what i'm saying. A tent or greenhouse for just this tree gives it a better chance than without one. I have seen post after post about this tree on other forms as too why the leaves go yellow or why it's dying.. i followed the directions exactly.. What people don't get is that their tree came from a controlled geenhouse. You take one or two of them elements way that it's used too and needs, it won't survive vary long. In other words... they don't research before they buy... then ask why it's dying. Other things may contribute to it being sick before they get it, but researching before hand can address a lot of problems before it gets to that point of asking for help in the first place.

True words. Indeed they ask when the tree is dead or dying - while it is visible the plant has been in trouble for quite some time...

Let's wait and see if the OP comes back and shows us a revived plant. I doubt it.

Ok just that we're clear i did research about this tree when i got it (as a gift! Didn't buy it). I saved the tree once (when leaves fell off at the start), i have it for about half a year and it was growing nicely. That's why i'm confused now cause it become like that in like 4 days? It's not like i waited for a month before i asked. That's why i'm confused cause it's all of a sudden and i'm not doing anything differently than in the recent months.

Valentina, try to lift the rootball carefully from the pot. Take a good look. If there are fine whitish tip roots (very fine) around, probably it's not a root problem. See also if the roots are not circling the pot (a signal it needs repoting). If the roots are black, with no lightly coloured tips, then probably the roots are dead.
Before lifting the rootball, take a look under the pot to see if the tree is not wired to the pot (they usually are). If there is wire, you will have to cut it out before lifting the tree from the pot.

Will try, thank you. If the roots are black (but not all of them) and if ii cut those roots off and then repot it, can it get better?
