Looks like the original size leave, the branches are looking like not grafted, took it into photoshop and blowed it up. It stays as structure shows in a green house, that would be most likely the best place. Defoliation would bring more branches as also pinching the tips.

The top part, just above the aerial root on the right side. Does not have to be a problem as long as you do not cut it back too far.

Posted 7 years 8 months ago #32761For that sort of money I would not buy it. But I am cheap when it comes to buying material.

I actually just messaged Ken Huth yesterday (the guys from both canton) and told him I was looking to buy. I can't make it to the meeting cause my stepson is having a birthday party at the same time. I figure I'll wait for Ken to reply and tell him what I want. He can probably send me something or maybe I'll just go pick it up.

I agree, I think with 300USD can get a better bonsai...

I'm taking everyone's advice and not buying it. I'm just having a hard time finding good material. And when I search for Nursery stock, I find that anything with a large trunk is just as expensive as this tree. I'm also not super experienced with picking out Nursery stock to use for bonsai so I am apprehensive. I would like to have a treee that needs wired and pruned but Is of size. The material I own now is not all that exciting. ...but I'm enthusiastic

Look for the bonsai material that makes you fall in love and give your heart a serenity.
Because of my principles, I always look for bonsai materials that can give peace to my heart.
That's why i love bonsai ...

yeah that's kind of how it works in the beginning.. You have to be patient, it will get better as you get better. Is there a 名媛直播 club where you live? you should join it, that is one of the easiest ways to get good material.
