If I go back to the picture and look at it I see that the tree was still hanging on to some green foliage but now it is almost completely yellow

Junipers are awful about telling us if they are dying or not. I sorry for your loss but the price for bonsai education is paid for by dead trees. I can think of 6 in the past year that I have killed (3 due to a fungus that spread to my azaleas).

I'll leave it out for another few days before I throw it out. Thank you for your kind words
