I'm really concerned with my tree as this is it's first autumn. As you can see from a few months ago it was so very healthy. Since then its been on a slow path gradually worsening. First picture is June 7th. the latest picture is 2nd October. Please help me. I keep it by the windowsill and have done since i first had it which is nearly 10 months ago. It has been in the same soil and all I do is water it when it start to get dry.

You should put it outside. It's gonna die indoors unless it's a tropical plant etc. Please give me the name of the species

If you have a Fukien Tea DO NOT put it outside you will kill it. It is a tropical species and needs protection. It needs good light also.

It's dropped more leaves since the original post and only has 5 leaves left. I have it indoors, it is on the brightest window sill and has grow very well during the spring and autumn months but now it really seems bad, is this normal for this time of year? What else can I do?

No. that's not normal, People on this forum will know how to give you advice about caring for a Carmona bonsai, but in this case that's not so easy, as it is neither potted nor trained as a real bonsai.

You may want to try the tips on this site:

You don't say how you have been watering, you need to check every day and water when the soil is almost dry. Have a look at for species guides and more.

Im not sure thats a good advice in this case. As Auk said it is not trained nor potted as a bonsai. So most probably (who knows?) it is potted in a basic soil mix with lot of organic material. If he or she will water when the top soil starts to die, the tree will surely die. I know because I have mallsais in these typical soils. Even when the top of the soil is bone dry , just one cm deeper the soil is still soggy like I just watered it. Its really hard to water them properly..
