Isn't this forum part of a website anyone can refer to and ask for help on any kind of queries and questions?

Point made?
I think so.

I asked because I got help from him and that's what this bonsai forum is for... Is it not?... A community in which we help eachother out in order to make an aspiring bonsai community...

Not (from what I've seen so far) comment on people's punctuation and put people down for not knowing something or asking a question even if there is other help out there.

I'm a beginner trying to get my bonsai, which is in trouble back to where it was with any sort of help.

Thank you.

Plants, like humans, can burn in the sun when not used to it, or without protection. An olive tree without leaves is a plant with less sunprotection. i would keep it in early morning or afternoon sun only.

Yes, but we can't be expected to do everything for you. If we did, how could you learn?

Yes but learning from others, otherwise known as shadowing someone, is also a great way to learn. I know that you can't be expected to do everything for me. I'm not asking for you to do everything for me , I asked a simple question which was already answered by someone else who was nice enough to 'help'. Being wise isn't just failing and getting up, it's being able to show to others the lack of being arrogant and asking for help.

The point of a teacher or someone with greater knowledge of a subject is being able to help those with lesser knowledge of that subject and showing them the right way to do something.

I appreciate your help and your input.

Your plant is an olive. Your best bet is to find very good care guidelines about olives.
There are people that are specialized in olives, and they will be able to give you the best information.

There are pages with in depth information. I could Google that for you, but you can do that yourself.
I could copy/paste a good article, but then I would be pretending to know everything about olives.
Also, it makes no sense to repeat information that is already available in a better format.

Your plant is not a bonsai, it is a young plant. It needs to get vigorous before you can start work on it.
名媛直播 specific advice at this moment is hardly relevant.

So, the advice you got to look up care guidelines for olive was solid.

So.. If you do not have olives, hve never kept them, then perhaps it is an option to hold out for someone who does have them, and has some experience with them to pick up the thread.

Solid yes. But was it helpfull? Helpfull might have been including a good website about olives ? There is no need to answer each and every post on the website; If you do not know, just let it go? If you think a thread is not interesting, perhaps just ignore it? It is what I am trying to do. If I think a tree will never amount to anything, I will leave the thread mostly alone, unless people start posting blatant nonsense.

no tree that i know likes being moved around.. i made that mistake in the beginning and lost 4 bonsai.. i do wild olive.. mine grow so well i have to prune every 2 weeks.. i live in south africa.. high heat. high humidity and lots of sun. with heavy summer and spring rain. my olive trees are outside in the sun in 23 to 30 degrees Celsius from early morning to around 2 in the afternoon... the grow like weeds.

make sure your climate is right for the bonsai you have... if not.. create it
dont over feed.. dont over water.. do research on what your tree wants.. and give it the attention it needs and all will be fine.

The actual advise was that the information is on this very website. I think that's helpful, but for those who can't find it:
