Good plan. I'll watch this topic closely the next 2 decades.

.. You killed your first dozen or se trees
-- You come here for advice and people who have somewhat more experience
--- You claim to have learned more by spending 2 hours here, then by browsing the web for weeks
---- Yet you cannot accept that this is really one of the worst materials to start with?
Guess I am done giving input to you. You wanted a little respect and compassion ~Im 32yrs old and I have no idea obviously so a less patronising attitude might be appreciated~. That goes both ways.

A bit of humour sets you off and you are twisting what I write?
I have been learning and watching videos relentlessly and just the fact I'm here and asking for help in the 'help' section might be a cue to offer some.
I get that it's not a great place to start with these plants but I'm not giving up on them, I have bought alot and I'm looking at local clubs.
I will be out today looking for materials to have a play with and I will be back.
Should really try to make people feel more welcome here, no one even said welcome to the forum, it's a shame as some of your videos on YouTube are great...
Back on topic, the Chinese elm can go outside once spring hits with my katsura maple sapling and the serissa? I'm guessing from what I've read is more suited indoors above 15 degree's and kept as humid as possible?
Thanks.

You're making a mistake there. These are not 'OUR' videos'. We are just visitors to this forum, just like you.

welcome to the forum... please read all the articles to become wiser.. after that there's a lot of people who visit these boards and will try to advice you by their own experience and do this out of their own free will..
if you feel offended by some of the (constructrive) remarks by these people, please take a step back and reflect on what they said.. while they are not trying to attack you, but simply give advice on the beautifull hobby of bonsai. e.g.: if your tree is rubbish, accept that people will point this out.. google for bonsai and look at the difference between your tree and what you see in the results..
