Indeed. Priceless master pieces of nature are typically grown by nature, over centuries.
In a decade or two one can only hope for a nice starterplant with all the look and fell of a young plant. Not a problem, but it IS nice if someone points that out before the OP starts off on that track.

Growing from seed often leads to disappointment as you cannnot "do" much with seedlings. So uness you are aware of that and are growing for the future while working on something else, or just have them sitting in a growing bed for when you have time at retirement, I would not use it asthe sole way to get plants. I would recommend cuttings over seed for newbies anytime, for instance. They develop a lot quicker, are more robust and easier in the first years.

In any case By all means, grow stuff from seed, it is fun and may lead to a basic mame bonsai in a decade or so. But do other stuff during the wait for the seedlings to grow up.

Thank you so much!! I found one that was only about 35 mins away, which totally shocked me since I'm in SW Indiana (there isn't much around here).

The temps at night going to drop to the low 40s and then one night it will be 33. My juniper is only 6inches tall. Will that hurt my little juniper?

Nope. I am assuming you mean fahrenheit?
My trees get -20C in cold winters.
