Compared with yours I guess?
It seems like a lot of the people on this site lack genral manners, when i first started out asking questions I got the same reaction. There is a tab on this page that helped me identify a few of my trees maybe it can help you. Good Luck with them
Trying to find out what I did wrong this time I read through your posts. I noticed that you're the guy that was so impatient, that you broke into someone else's topic as, as you wrote, 'no one is helping me' when you did not get a reply quick enough. Talking about being rude... was it Alain's remark that you thought was without manners, or Leatherback, who said rightfully that your tree isn't bonsai yet? Seems it wasn't me this time... but it does proof how quickly people are offended. Well, I guess the emperor got offended too after people told him the truth about his new clothes.
You got lots of replies and your tree WAS identified by people who took the time to identify it for you. You're not only impatient, you're ungrateful too. Almost makes me want to post an acidic reply....

I do not think the identification of what is a bonsai is one of the smallest details, but actually core to working with bonsai. If you do not know what a bonsai is, you cannot create the, now can you?
Nope. Wrong again. It has nothing to do with the species, but with the techniques applied, and the impression that the plant leaves, achieved through the application of these techniques.Philparker1994 wrote: "bonsai" is actually the art form centered around a bunch of tree species, so most people on here won't class your tree's as bonsai yet.
Manners are culturally dependent. In the Netherlands people would it is dishonest, yes, would consider it lying, to tell people they have lovely trees, when indeed they have seedlings or cuttings that need 30 years of growing before becoming a bonsai. In the long run, it does not help anyone.Philparker1994 wrote: It seems like a lot of the people on this site lack genral manners, when i first started out asking questions I got the same reaction.
Pay attention. The trees were identified alreadyPhilparker1994 wrote: There is a tab on this page that helped me identify a few of my trees maybe it can help you.
That is indeed what Auk is doing. By telling people that there are not bonsai. Something that 10 minutes spent reading on the site would already have told the OP. THat is actually step one in forum netiquette: You check whether your question has been answered before, and you understand the style & subject matter at hand.Philparker1994 wrote: People need to help others not try and be harsh because they know more about the subject matter.
