I would love to see your dog because frankly that dog is talented, all i am saying is that i would not exclude the fact that it may be a pomegranite and that it could be a myrtle and if your are that sensative about pomegranites then that is not my fault. I mean really, all you are doing is leading astray and not helping with that "dog pissing" post.

I did use matches, just as an experiment. When I crush the leaves it smells strongly like the inside of a pumpkin. Can a second person confirm this as a shrub and not 名媛直播 ? If it is a shrub, the bigger the pot the bigger it will grow, right?

名媛直播 is not a tree species, it is a technique. 名媛直播 are made from trees and shrubs (that are suitable for bonsai).
A bigger pot should make it grow, but not necessarily grow bigger. That depends on the techniques you use. At this moment, you want the tree to start thriving again. You need growth for the tree to stay healthy, and also to be able to shape it.
A close up of the leaves - where we also can see the position of the leaves - would be helpful, including something that we can compare the actual size with.

If the leaves are strongly scented then a probable 70-90%chance of it being myrtle, and the bigger the pot thing, i do not thonk so, but i like your logic, first thing is to give it plenty of light and feed accordingly and water when the soil feels like it is dry on the top centimetre andis getting dry underneath the centimetre of soil.

I would advise to use systematic insecticides but see if the bugs are a threat/pest first.

I thnik it may be a myrtle but the bugs might have come from the stuff in the surface of the soil. Here is a good website.

Not completely sure of it being a myrtle now, could be pomegranite but even if it may die i am sure the thought of the gift is nice. Leaf size is on inche so best guess would be myrtle the annoying thing is that sysyematjc insecticides have to be used with strong plants so i am afraid you may have to wait to use it. One thing to try is to shower the plant, could get rid of the bugs.
