Be very careful when you are buying from E Bay. Unless you know who is selling you could have problems. We do need to see the plant you have bought, it is only a seedling sized plant and almost certainly needs to be in the ground for several years to get a decent sized trunk. It is too small to be pruning or wiring for some years.
Take a look at bonsai4me which has sepcies guides and lots of other information and is one of the best I have found.

I was also wondering how old or how big the tree has to be before you actually bonsai it.

It depends on how big you want it to be, you don't bonsai any tree you have to train the tree over a period of years to obtain the image and design you want. Take a look at bonsai4me for species guids and other advice.
If you start with a stick in a pot you will always have just that, you need to grow any tree to increase the trunk girth it does not matter if the tree is to be 4inches tall or 30 inches the method is the same

Here are some pictures of it! I took it out of the pot and it definitely needs transplanted. Should i put it in a bigger pot or a bonsai pot? Should i trim anything? Help me please!
