Ah okay, I was wondering if the misting technique wasn't a great way to do it. I'll do how you suggested. I'll have to look up fertilizer now that I know what kind of plant they are. I thought they were maple, but Albas said they're Jacaranda.

Jacaranda - that is different from what I said, thinking they were maples.
Most tropicals the guideline is 10C/50C - when the weather drops below that, bring them in. When the weather is reliably above that, put them out. When the weather wobbles above and below, leave them in.
While inside, you have to watch for low humidity stress and for bugs. For some reason bugs go wild on indoor plants. You will probably have to water every day.

Jacaranda are frost resistant, since they are Native from Southern Brazil (here)/Argentina/Uruguay, sub-tropical to temperate climate...
Winter here reaches around an 0?C minimum at night, and they can handle... Mine here are outside all year around.
They are Semi-deciduous (or deciduous depending on the temp.). However yours seems pretty young to face a winter already, and well, your winter can be much harder than ours...
If you allow me, I can tell you that's an hard species to make 名媛直播 from, their leaves are huge, I have one thickening on the ground with half meter leaves, on the pot they get smaller, of course.

Bugs take advantage of unhealthy plants. Just like unhealthy mammals are more prone to get infections unhealthy plants are more prone to get bugs. That is natures way to support survival of the fittest,

How cold does it get? All I come across is that below -5 or so they give up, and that the first years they cannot handle frost at all.

Our Winter here gets around 0?C on the coldests nights, on some regions maybe a little bit less, but it's eventual...
After half growing season they should be able to survive.
This was on August 11, mid to late Winter for us, cleaning up the pots. You can see they still very small, about 10cm high.

This is the one (closest to the camera) I've been training on the ground, it's about 1m high.
Little bit less than 1 year old. Taproot was prunned when younger, can't remember if I planted this one on top of a slate, but I think I did.
Don't mnid the mess
That's how long their leaves can get when on the ground.
