I am all for doing what is best for the trees, but the first requirement for me to do that is survival.

"Dear, I plan on bringing 100 itty bitty red mites to put on the indoor trees. If they run out of things to eat, they will migrate around the house looking for something to eat."

"And, where are you moving to before you do this?"

I will continue with the systemics I have been using. They have been inside two weeks now, basking in the new grow light for six hours a day, and they are doing much better than usual for moving inside. So far, no mites, so maybe this discussion is all academic.

I culture a lot of "bugs" at home. The ones that are not visible to the eye, like the predatory mite, is the least problem to my significant other.
