Brilliant thank you, would you suggest wiring one of the 3 branches in the photo? They aren't very long because they have been cut before

I would not grow this tree taller, so that is not my suggestion. But you can if you want.

A quick try to understand what you have there.
I see the red as keeper branches.
Then, assuming the blue branch is near the top too, that would be a keeper.
This would mean that, over time, you could consider removing as per black lines, and with than, clean up the stump from the previous cut.
It is however a fairly large step for your small tree. I would not do this in one go, and I would probably wait untill spring to do this.
Considering you have just received this.. Focus on keeping it alive through the winter. In a cool brightly lit place it should do well enough.

an other alternative..
In the end it depends also on what you see as the future for the tree. You can also remove all lower branches and develop this as a broom tree, with lots of branches starting in the top.
