-40??? do you live on the north pole???Anyways, inside in a heated room it will die, no doubt about it.
I should gradually bring it into the sun, it has been inside and in transport, so give it some time to adapt to the sun again.

No i do not live in the northpole lol but here in Québec temp can get pretty low in january-february. And from november onward it usully is below -10.

Well, my advice stays the same. If your tree is adapted to your weather it can stay out to about -10, but all depends on placement, wind etc etc... Main thing is that the rootball doesnt freeze completely, that will kill it. So, bring it in an unheated frostfree shed/garage:.. it will do fine there.

Check for winter care with the International 名媛直播 Arboretum in Rochester, NY. That is pretty close to the same weather as southern Quebec.

Well that tree is a strong one 2 days out and it already have a few leave buds showing.
