Hi, one of my Azaleas has yellowing leaves. It is in a landscape pot with 2 others both of which seem fine and are budding ready to flower. In U.K. and weather been fairly warm so watered as required. Soil (lower half akadama top general bonsai soil) should I remove the poorly tree and repot on its own until it recovers?? Need help/advise please.

You should be using Kanuma for the soil, I would leave and wait until after flowering now, you could try some miracid if you can get some, Rainwater will still be hard but better than mains depending on where you are.

Rainwater is pure water, by definition soft water. There are no such thing as hard rainwater.

I will use rainwater from now. Any thoughts as to why this Azalea should look so ill when the other 2 in the same pot are fine? Thanks

I disagree with things stated as facts when in fact, they are not.

Hi Paulito,

As you have three azaleas in the pot, only 1 which has problems, chances are it is not (just) the water. I cannot see any of the pictures. COuld you retry to place a picture here? Keep inmind the 1MB size maximum, and the need for the pic to be smaller than 1000pixels on a side.

Could it be than one is more exposed to wind / frost / sun? Or have you worked the roots recently?

Yes, and pulling out fractions of statements to twist it as much as possible to make it look like wrong. This really confuse People.

The (sub) discussion was wheather rain water is soft or hard. I say soft, agree or dissagree?
