There are so many posts about unhealthy and dying trees on this forum that it's not funny.
That's only on this forum. Imagine how many people acquire and get a "bonsai", don't know what to do with it, and end up with a dead tree.

If the temperature is correct, then I would say it died from overwatering the organic soil. Lower temperatures demands less watering and organic soil demands longer intervall between watering.
