I supplied some proof that that's not true. Now it's your turn to supply proof for your statement.

Do you really want to do this in this thread?

You have not provided any proof for any statements at all. Hey, you didnt even provide a statement.

At least in Europe, every companies annaual accont is official information. If you want to evaluate it, just ask for Them. I dont know the situation in us or Australia.

Copenhagen. There are tree businesses that have opened and closed the last 5 years that i know of. Today there are not one business that is regularily open. Except for a central location shop that sell "indoor bonsai". My little experience cannot tell the differences between their trees and what is commonly called mallsais.

Sweden: there have been a few tries to open shops. None of Them provides a full time job or even regular opening Times. Out of two that has been around for some time. Just one is actually selling trees but only chineese elms. The other one have been sold several Times the last few years. The other one has been sold a few Times and are now only selling pots online.

Yes, i have reviwed their final books. And with my measurements it is really ugly.

Not really.

I've demonstrated there are flourishing, relatively old nurseries.
While there may be new start-ups that don't make it, that happens in any business. What you write is not true.

What an obsession with right and wrong. Must be an easy life.

I have much respect for your knowledge and experience within bonsai. However your retoric and discussions on the forum can be improoved a lot.

It is part of my job to review businesses and markets. My statement is correct according to my knowledge and you have done Nothing to proove the opposite.

However to fall back to the discussion. My main point was that specialiced bonsai nurceries is in most cases not the best place for beginners to find materials. The exceptions is if they live close to one and have a big budget. That makes it just a fraction of People starting into bonsai.

So my point was to direct tc to options that might be better.
