End of discussion.

No no no.

You do not get to decide when the discussion is ended.
By the way... did you just post a video explaining how to treat maples that have scorched leaves because of... UNDERwatering (or frost) ?
Thanks, I guess.

Overwatering does not cause leaves to de-hydrate. That's what's happening - de-hydration. Overwatering is not the cause, but root-rot as a result of the plant staying to wet is. The result is the roots no longer being able to supply sufficient water.

The same occurs when it is too hot or the plant doesn't get enough water.

These two are hard to distinguish by looking at the leaves alone. We'd have to look at the roots. The soil will give an indication too though, and looking at that soil, it seems to be well-draining. As said, in the right soil, overwatering is practically impossible, so our best guess is that the plant did get too much sun/heat and/or too little water.

I dont know why i actually respond you. I know you can discuss for the rest of your life and with everyone in here. But my last post was actually the end of my discussion with you. If you taked your time to wath the video, then you will know that the scorched leaves is coursed by sunburn. One of us have to the oldest and stop the discussion, because as said you discuss with everyone in here and never stops. I still not agree with you. I trust the books and my experience more than you. Bye bye bonsai internet master Auk (irony is used)

The one leaf with patterns in the middle of the leaf could be sunburn, but could also be fungal, which feels more likely.

When the tips and edges of the leafs start to die off, you have a plant that, for some reason, is unable to get enough water to the leaves. This can be heat & dry roots, but it can also be too many salts in the soil or root-tips tjhat van been damaged.

If the drying of the leaves start at the tip of the leaf, another potetial problem can be due to salt buildup at the tip of the leaves, and subsequent infection with fungus that continues to invest the next cell thus spreading inward rom the tip.

I am going for root issues & drying winds.
