Hi,

I have a question about my ficus, i overwatered it and repoted just after i received it and i know that i shouldnt do that. For about 2 weeks my tree lost a lot of leafs, but i put it into a box, covered with foil and gave it a lot of light. Now its seems to be good, i see a lot of new leafs but three of the branches probably are dead... i cut the tip of those and inside they are brown and dry. Is it any chance to make those branches green again? Or should i just cut them...

thanks ;-)

There is only one recorded case in history of something/womeone dead that was resurrected.
If it is dead, you can remove it.

Not just A book, it is the word of God. We know it is the word of God because there is proof: it is written in that book that it is so.

Thanks for your answers ;-) If u say so, that must be true. I'm looking now for some solution for my tree, is there any possibility to replace lost branches except transplantation? Im just a beginer so im not sure is this technique in my reach at the moment. Below i attached my tree, on both sides as i marked i have dead branch and on the left i just cut one. The third one is behind. Top of my tree is growing very well now, it has a lot of leafs. Is there any possibility to re-grow lost lower branches?

I am not sure the right low branch is dead, it is an important branch. Make sure it IS surely dead before cutting it off.

I am sure, it's dry and brown, i compared it to the wound remained after removing other dead branch wich is green, moist. I will cut it partialy observing how does it look inside.

Why that rope? Bending the top down like that doesn't look good - nor does the very symmetrical S-shape.

Its not about bending down, i just wanna try somenthing, as you see there are air roots going down to the soil, i want to check, if i cut it, will the new shoots appear.
