I have bought a maple recently. The leaves are seen in the attached photo.
Most of the leaves are 7-fingered while there are rarely 9-fingered leaves also.
What type is my maple?
Thank you.

Looks like something that grows in my garden... but that's not a tree.
It's an Acer Palmatum Dissectum, but I cannot tell you which variety.

Exactly why I initially adviced going to ask the selling store. They should know. Just guessing by leave shape is not going to get you there.
A dissectum yeah, as it just means with a cut leaf. Maybe Crimson Queen?
It certainly is not Acer platinum. Blood good.
Interesting, you have to just shout a name to get likes on here?

Acer Palmatum is close enough to find the care guidelines. Don't think it matters that much that it's a dissectum, and the variety.. no idea, not even going to guess, there are so many...but indeed it is not a bloodgood; if I'm right, a bloodgood is not a dissectum.

Actually other varieties are better candidates.
Also, it's probably grafted, which can be a problem.
