Winter will be the issue. A tree whose species comes from Massachusetts will have to have a long spell of freezing weather but the pot danger too cold and the tree will need protection from drying wind. Some will think it is cruel to leave them outside. Actually, it is cruel to deprive them of the environment that millions of years have evolved them into.
