Your doing great. But if it was my tree, I would reconsider the position of the tree. I think the tree has a nice nebari but with the position it's in now. you only have a nebari on the right side that wil take some time to fix it .

Good going!

Thanx :)
I like it the way it is because it is gonna be planted on a hill over the water on a penjing tray and trees that are leaning to the side like that has most of the times strong visible nebari on the opposite side.
So I am really happy with it :)

Last 2 this week.
Species unknown yet.
They grew on a concrete slabs where I collected my pines and had very small rootballs close to the trunks so I could afford plant them straight into the pot and on a slab.

Hi lads, me again.
As you all loved my newly collected trees, here is one more.
Another hawthorn.
One and a half hour hard work to get it out.
I?m wrecked. Enough of deciduous trees for this year.

I'm a little ashamed to show my new "trees" after Kristof's and others
But here they are. I'll plant them outside in May and hope that dogs, kids and lawn-mowers won't kill them as it had happened last year with my flowers.

I mentioned in this thread about some Oaks on my father-in-laws property. After going back and looking again the material wasn't as spectacular as I remember. I sure that has never happened to anyone else here. I went ahead and collected 3 trees. They should be ready for display in a bonsai show in um... 2037.
