I've been speaking to a very well known bonsai seller who I have also got a few trees from on top of reading and watching videos and have bought a few more bonsai to add to my collection. 名媛直播 table is next thing to do and I'm on a current ban from buying anymore says the Mrs lol
Ficus retusa which I want to repot into a larger pot but am wondering to put it in a deeper plastic pot as I have been told they warm faster so will encourage faster root growth.
Have to do them singly as server keeps crashing.

And my favourite I got today is a Hawthorn crataegus.
I'm hoping I get some back budding at some point as I'd like a lower branch to shape into something interesting.

Nice to see you are accumulating. The juniper could do with a bit of ongrowing before training ag bonsai (Acturally, that is true for most of the pants you are showing).
Just as a sidenote, your ficus is not a ficus, I am pretty sure but considering the image quality, it is hard to tell.

if that hawthorn has a healthy rootball and if you cut off almost all branches, you'll see loads of backbudding..
heck.. mine even backbuds underground and springs new shoots all over the pot..
