very impressive, how did you make the base? dont need to say it but you should be proud!! its inspired me!! thanks

The base was made with foam that I carved to the shape in needed then it was covered in various layers of cement and different colours of paint to give it that real rock look.

Thanks for the heads up,I'll give good them a call and see when they are next meeting up. Our local nursery has been a great help, he is very passionate about bonsai and has been a good reference point. At this stage I still have sticks in pots, but give it some time. Which every way I look at it, it's a great way to spend time with my kids and relax.
