Inspired by Chris Guise I decided to make my own "Hobbit House" I have been doing 名媛直播 for about 2 years so am very new to it all. I make this mainly to attract children in the hope they would find a love for 名媛直播 and keep our tradition going.
It was entered in the Redlands 名媛直播 show where it recieved 1st place for peoples choice and it cam second in the peoples choice for 名媛直播 Society of Queensland.
The "pot" is hand made and made out of cement and foam and took about 8 weeks to make. The main tree is a Jaboticaba (Myrciaria Cauliflora) which produces a purple-black, grape-like fruit which grows directly on the trunk. Has a very sweet, slightly aromatic, translucent pulp with a pleasant grape flavour. Comes from Southern Brazil. The smaller trees are variagated Serrisas
What are peoples opinion of this?

I love this little Penjing. I am assuming you bought the little trees? Or do these trees develop really quickly in your area? (very well done if you just started 2 years ago indeed!)

Thank you Leatherback, my Serrisa's were grown from cuttings and grow very well under 70% shadecloth. I appreciate all comments as this to me is the only way to learn

Honest opinion?
The main tree on it's own would be nice, but not a great bonsai.
The total composition however... is fantastic. I love it.

I really, really love the composition. Can?t help myself thinking about Bilbo Baggins. It transports me directly to "The Shire". Throw Gandalf in it and it would be amazing
Now... If it has only taken you 2 years to reach this plateau, then I?m still hopeful... Congrats!

G'day, very cool work that you have created. Noticed that you showed the trees in the Brisbane area. Are you from around that way. I have recently ventured into this great art form and trying to soak up as much information as possible.

Hi Robbie
I am from the Scenic Rim but you have a bonsai club not far from you called Sunshine Coast 名媛直播 Society. To find out more use this email astanley@tpg.com.au.
Joining a club will give you alot of extra help and will give you more confidence with your trees, and you get to meet like minded people who will show you the tips and tricks of the trade
