Even a full day after watering I can push down on the surface and push water out of the compost. Is this too wet or is it normal for this type of compost?
I can't tell you if this is normal for this type of soil as I don't use it - and I expect hardly anyone on this forum does.
It's hard to tell either if it's too wet. One thing you did not tell us is what type of trees you've potted in it.
