Hello, I recently acquired two months ago a 1950 (aprox) Zuisho. It's doing great but I am currently having some troubles identifying when it is the proper time to water it. A while ago I had another one that sadly died and I have been since then paranoid. I live in Barcelona.
When do you know it's the best time to water it? It's in its own roots and it has akadama (at least) for its soil. Like I said I live in Barcelona, Spain.
Thank you.
If someone could identify the subspecies it would be amazing. Thank you.

When soil looks dry on the surface. Water abundantly with a fine nozzle until there are a steady stream of water pouring out the drainage holes.
