So I have an Llex ( Japanese holly, I believe) that I bought from a nearby garden centre. I’m in the Uk and we are starting to have some wet weather, in fact it’s rained on and off for about a week now.
So my question is this, my Llex is being kept in the garden ( although not much sunlight ) but it is getting plenty of rain so is that a problem? Am I better off placing it under cover but still in the garden or is it ok to simply get rained on?
Thanks, Lee.

as long as it is draining then it will be fine. you could put it out of the rain, but then you have to see it does not dry out

You can put a brick under one side of the pot. By getting an angle the excess water will flow over the pot, rather then soak in.

Thanks, that’s what I thought was logical but best to check.
