Good morning all, I have a pretty large Kwanzaa Cherry tree, about 6 foot tall, that I am letting grow for a few seasons. Anyway the tree seems to have waterlogged problems, the leaves are droopy and the top most growth is yellowish. I know it’s a water problem. I do not water the plant but once a week. I reported the plant 3 days ago after I first started seeing signs but I have yet to see it sprout back up. Any pointers or suggestions would be great. I gave it a light watering after the repor and plan on letting it dry out completely before the next watering to see if it hopefully comes back. Sorry I am at work and cannot provide a picture at the moment

Was it wet when you re potted ? What makes you think it was waterlogged only watering once a week!! Just becuase the leaves are drooping does not mean it is waterlogged, if you are watering so little I would think is is suffering from lack of water. Re potting a plant that is weak is the last thing to do, it will only make it worse.
