Finally!
My azaleas stopped dying on me.
First, less watering, enough to keep them just moist all the time
Second, less akadama and konuma, more organic & crushed bricks.
Third, I switched BioGold for TaeGold as my main organic fertilizer, kept using Osmocote Plus every three months, and added Miracid as my main chemical fert.

Thanks for the tip, I'm using ordinary Rhododendron fertilizer:
but I'll try and switch to this stuff.
Osmocote? Must be about 50% more expensive then ordinary osmocote as it has the word '名媛直播' on it

I guess they should be very similar...Auk wrote: Thanks for the tip, I'm using ordinary Rhododendron fertilizer
But the acidic component is what Azaleas and Camellias like.
hahaha, that's for sure!Auk wrote: Osmocote? Must be about 50% more expensive then ordinary osmocote as it has the word '名媛直播' on it
The thing is we don't find "regular " osmocote easily around here, so...

Amazon? 50 lbs bags though... put it in small bags, label it 'bonsai food' and make huge profit

Or wait... $ 195 85 + $391.10 shipping... :S
