Turn table is absolutely necessary if we have to work on big bonsai which is usually heavy and difficult to rotate to see all sides. Turn table enables us to view all sides and give an opportunity to think about designs,styling, progressions etc.

I agree, Sai. Having a turn table makes such a difference even when working on small bonsai. Some may have what we in North America call a *lazy-susan* on their their dining table...this works great! They can also be purchsed in most department stores. I will try to post photos soon of my two turn tables.;)

I have no turn tables because I've small trees but with small trees it's also very useful. You can also rotate it just a bit or rotate it 360 degrees to see if it looks good in every angle. It certainly is a must, even more with bigger trees which are difficult to rotate.

Hey guys, here is mine, i got given it from my cousin Justin, who got given it by his grandfather as a present. He made it two so justin gave me one! They are so useful

i have a turn table too, it's just a turn table for spices or other things to put in a closet or on the worktop in the kitchen. It's less expensive than a seller of bonsai :oops:

Here are some photos of my two turn tables. The dark brown one is made of 3/4" plywood attached to a cast iron base. It's a little heavy to carry back and forth to 名媛直播 meetings however, this will support a fairly large bonsai. The top surface measures 15 1/4" across.

The second turn table my Dad made for use as a *lazy-susan* on counter or dining table. The wood is Oak and the top surface is 1 1/4" thick by 14 3/4" across. It rotates on ball-bearings. This is much lighter in weight than the first turn table.

Good:) .Looks aristocratic. I think a handle to rotate could enhance performance.

A handle? I'm not sure how this would enhance performance. Both my turn tables rotate with ease at the slightest touch of my finger. Do you have a photo of one with a handle? :huh:
