Guess the title says it all, so keeping it short.

None of the shops I usually buy from has anything interesting, and it is indeed a niche thing so that's not too surprising.

Any suggestion on where to look?

Commissioning one is an option too, but I wouldn't know where or from whom...

Somewhere on the Empire there is a page with links to lists of pot makers in every continent.

Last year quite a few of the North American potters were not around, but most of them were. Look for Europe and see what you get.

I have no idea what you are looking for. I mean, I could tell you that Frank Muller makes great pots for a great price. Or that MADE bonsai pots does great custom pots, incuding pot-design suggestions based on the trees. I tsjech republic there are a number of potters that make very affordable larger pots. And you know of IBUKI I am sure; The question to me is too open-ended to tell you anything usefull.

In short: Go to a potter whose pots you like. If you look for something not in the shop, send them an email and ask them whether they would be able to make one to order. Most of them do NOT ask a lot more than the pots in the store, as the work and material involved are not much more.,

Sorry for the late reply here...

Thanks, but actually the question revolved around crescents specifically: not many potters do them, and the point is/was about a pointer for those who do in order to pick/select from

In the meanwhile, anyway (in case it’s helpful links for others): I was considering placing a request to
Their pots are gorgeous.

Except my reference go-to potter came up with this in the meanwhile:

And -well- given my nickname you can infer the rest...
