I bought this tree from my local garden center as practice material, it's a mungo pine. I cleaned it up a bit but haven't done any wireing to it yet. It has a nice trunk and good movement, I plan to try and get it a bit smaller and work on ramification to make pads in the future. Any tips or advice would be helpful. Thank you

I am no expert, but I found the roots attractive, the short trunk interesting, but... Isn't difficult to style a tree with so many branches going up from the same place?
Perhaps I am wrong, but maybe you will have to prune most of these branches, no? Is this in your plans?
Thanks for sharing the tree.

I mean yeah for the most part. I was wanting to see what others might have to say be for I did anything else to it. I already made some dead wood out of a couple of the branches.
