I like the tree, its better gaining experiences on something we can work and don't lose $$$$, as being a good tree and trash it. Beside this discussion has been the same time last year. I agree that the way some people express them is not needed. Go ahead and make experiments on what ever suits you, there will be help doing your way.

This has been said already, so the only reason you are posting this, is to be able to say:

Which, personally, I don't find needed either.
Let's stop shooting the messengers (yes, there were multiple in this thread) and start focusing on the subject.

This is however different from growing bonsai. If you are on a forum to learn, would it not be nice if people steered you in the reight direction, rather than just say: You are doing great, only to eralize that after years you have been working on unsuitable species?
