This was my first wiring attempt and was the first styling on this young pyracantha, it's still not finished as I didn't wire the whole tree yet or pruned it as I didn't know what I was going to do with it , I will finish it today by wiring the rest of the branches and I will remove the top left branch that's is obviously not needed 
What does everyone think ?

I did a bit more work today wired all the smaller branches and pruned what I didn't need , here's a pic

I think it is good you got your hands dirty and got started.
I also think this plant needs a lot of seasons to get some thickness on the trunk for the size of tree you are creating. Or you could go a LOT smaller.

Actually, going smaller wouldn't be a bad idea...
I would cut it about 1-2 inches from the base.
If this whole plant is a learning experience then why not give it a try? (I promise I will reply to that post
)

Where are you from? Here in the states it hot summer time . and I have heard and read to be careful with wiring in the heat as the wire will burn the tree
