Hi. I am new here and new to 名媛直播. I just bought my first 名媛直播 (a carissa holly) and have started trimming it. I need advice on whether or not to cut the lower left branch or leave it. I like it without it, but am worried it will interfere with the integrity of the final tree as it grows. Can you comment. I attached the before and the after photos.

Thats a Chinese holly, not a Japanese holly? Was that sold to you as a bonsai ?? It isn't.
I'm not even sure if it is suitable for bonsai, the leaves look relatively large to me, and if I'm right, they won't reduce much.
This plant isn't ready for pruning either. You don't have a good trunk yet. Just let it grow.
