Good morning everyone,
I’ve had my bonsai for nearly a year now and was thinking about giving it a prune back, as I’ve let it freely grow for the year as I repotted it midd year. ?My question is - is it ok to prune in the winter months.

Normally yes. But it depends a little bit on species and climate.

At our last meeting a guy who knows a lot more than I know said we should wait until May. Normally we do all our trees in February and March, and May is well into air conditioning season.Dabs wrote: Good morning everyone,
