Hi all,
Got this Punus Incisa the other day from a friend, he was tired of taking care of it. It was in a tiny pot, I up ‘grow boxed’ it, nothing more. I know not to do anything for a while, but the top part, with the inverse taper is bugging me. I have stared at it for days, not knowing what to do with it when spring comes lol.
Pic 2 is not how the inverse taper is to be clear. It looks like it is in the picture, but it’s just the angle that makes it look like it is.
Pic 3 however, is an inverse taper. Is it possible to ‘shave’ some of the trunk at that point, so I don’t need to take the high left branch off? I kinda like that branch’s movement, but I’m afraid it might be needed for the long run.
Oh, I live in the Netherlands.
Thanks for the advice.
Pete
